313)   First regularly scheduled weekend hours at the Squire's Tavern! - May 6, 2007
                 The Squire's Tavern opened on Sunday, May 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 for our first regularly scheduled weekend hours.  Each Sunday the Tavern will be open to the curious and those wishing to learn about a piece of Barkhamsted history.  Volunteers will be on hand to show you around the Squire's Tavern or to help you with other questions you may have on the people and culture of our fair town.  The Tavern is also open on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to noon.  For sale at the Tavern are a number of items including the Barkhamsted Heritage book and a very colorful reprint of an 1874 map of the town.
