Hi,My name is Joy Serrano and I live in Paris, Arkansas. I'm am doing some research on an old rocking chair that was made in your town and would like to see if you can help me out. The rocking chair says "L.Hitchcock.Hitchcocksville.Conn.Warranted. across the back/top of the rocker. It also has a stamped lettering under the seat the reads HCCO I have done some reading in a variety of antique guide books and know the history of the Hitchcock chair company. What I am attempting to do now is to try and come up with an estimated date that my rocker was made. Can you make any suggestions as to how I may determine the date it was made?
