I checked in today (12/10/03) but cannot find other messages. Hope you get that cleared up. Re: the artifacts section, I clearly recall my father, James A. Hall, using that bellows somewhere about 1938-1940 to melt lead for bullets to use in a cap and ball pistol, which we kids were allowed to fire. The molten lead was placed into a mold where the pistol "balls" cooled and solidified. He also trained us in using modern rifles and pistols, and though I am not much of a "gunny," I did earn a sharpshooter medal on the caliber .30 carbine during basic training in the U.S. Air Force in 1949. - Richard H.
