Please forgive me for using your site to reach Mr Doug Roberts. I went into the internet to find information on Hitchcock Chairs,and stenciling them and came across Mr Roberts site.I have a pillow back Hitchcock chair that my father in law bought at a yard sale ,and he asked me if i would stencil the very,very faded pattern that was already on it.He was going to repaint it flat black,and have me do the stenciling. I can tole paint some, but i'm nervous about doing the stenciling because i've never done this before ,i'm not sure of the colors,and i'd like to do the best job i can for him. I have been looking for a while on the internet,but with no luck.
