Ann, stencils have been found in one room in the Squires Tavern. There is a possibility that another room has stencils and we are going to investigate that further. Earlier occupants removed many of the plaster walls, so finding evidence of stenciling has been difficult. Paul Hart - Barkhamsted Historical Society
